Valutare l’apprendimento o valutare per l’apprendimento?
Verso una cultura della valutazione sostenibile all’Università
La letteratura internazionale sulla valutazione degli apprendimenti in contesto universitario sottolinea la necessità che il mondo accademico proceda a (ri)considerare la valutazione attraverso una nuova chiave di lettura, ponendo maggiore attenzione alla funzione formativa e incentivante. E’ in questo contesto che sono emerse prospettive di ricerca quali l’Assessment for Learning e la Sustainable Assessment. L’incontro, diretto a docenti e studenti, ha l’obiettivo di generare riflessione e dibattito sulla valutazione degli apprendimenti, mettendo a confronto gli autorevoli contributi dei relatori internazionali con alcune esperienze italiane.

Sally Brown is an independent consultant Emerita professor at Leeds Beckett University where she was previously pro Vice Chancellor for assessment learning and teaching. She is also a visiting professor at Liverpool John Moores University, University of South Wales and Plymouth University. She publishes widely on teaching learning and particularly assessment. She is chair of the UK Association of National Teaching Fellows and enjoys keynoting and giving workshops at conferences and universities globally.
Phil Race is an independent consultant and visiting professor at The University of Plymouth and University Campus Suffolk. He is very extensively published and his best-known works are Making Learning Happen (Sage) and The Lecturer's Toolkit (Routledge). He is known for his work on the principal factors underpinning learning.
